Free LASIK Consultation

A consultation (see The LASIK Workup) allows us to measure certain key features of the eyes and integrate these measurements into an overall assessment of your candidacy for vision correction. This also allows you to meet our staff, tour our center and speak with Dr. Wallace. He will personally review all information with you. We will endeavor to answer any and all questions you may have about vision correction care.

We offer free consultation to any adult (18 years of age or older) seeking vision correction care, who has not yet had treatment.  Charges will apply if vision corrective surgery has been rendered previously by another surgeon or center.  Charges will apply if care was rendered at LA Sight, and a follow-up visit is desired after the no-cost follow-up care period has lapsed (typically, we provide follow-up care for a full year after primary treatment).  Charges may apply if any medical eye disease or visually significant findings exist (including cataract), if any prior eye surgery has been performed, or if extended testing is warranted (see Extended Testing).  If this is the case you will be advised accordingly, and we may ask you to provide health insurance information for billing purposes.
 
For your consultation, we suggest planning to spend about an hour in our office. If surgery is to be scheduled and/or any additional testing performed, this can run to an hour and a half. If you would like to bring along a friend or relative, they are certainly most welcome!
