Patient Profiles

One of the best ways to learn about vision correction is to talk to, read about, and learn from people who have already had similar care. We invite you to browse here a very broad selection of profiles about our patients.

Our profiles include data on:

  1. Unaided vision before and after treatment;

  2. Prescription before and after treatment;

  3. Age, occupation, and photo (if provided);

  4. Certain special case concerns;

  5. Comments from patients; and

  6. Comments from Dr. Wallace.

We invite you to browse by the various treatment types listed in the 'right rail' (column at right).  Or, to review all patient profiles, simply select one of the featured patients, then the "Next" or "Previous" tabs on the individual profile pages.

These are real people, and their letters speak for themselves. To respect and protect the privacy of these patients, we have identified them only by first name in the letters published here.

Hello Dr. Wallace,

I wanted to take the time to thank you and your staff for the "experience" you provided me.  It wasn't until I visited your office that I understood the difference between one eye surgeon and the next.  Through the process I got to interact with everyone on your staff.  They are all friendly, competent and showed a genuine interest in my well being.

I've been looking into corrective surgery for the past 8 years.  During that time I've visited with 5 separate ophthalmologist in search of someone skilled and trusting enough to work on my eyes.  Some doctors had pictures of famous people on the walls along with all of their diplomas.  In every case there seemed to be a missing piece.  It was the personal touch that you and your entire staff provide.

Not once during my other consultations did I feel I had the doctors 100% attention.  I usually felt rushed as if I was on an assembly line and preventing the doctor from seeing their next patient.  That never happened in your office.

Thank you for your patience.  Thank you for answering all of my questions.  Thank you for providing me with a gift that has changed my life forever.
