Patient Profiles

One of the best ways to learn about vision correction is to talk to, read about, and learn from people who have already had similar care. We invite you to browse here a very broad selection of profiles about our patients.

Our profiles include data on:

  1. Unaided vision before and after treatment;

  2. Prescription before and after treatment;

  3. Age, occupation, and photo (if provided);

  4. Certain special case concerns;

  5. Comments from patients; and

  6. Comments from Dr. Wallace.

We invite you to browse by the various treatment types listed in the 'right rail' (column at right).  Or, to review all patient profiles, simply select one of the featured patients, then the "Next" or "Previous" tabs on the individual profile pages.

These are real people, and their letters speak for themselves. To respect and protect the privacy of these patients, we have identified them only by first name in the letters published here.

Laura F says:

For me, having LASIK was about the simple things:

being able to see the numbers on the clock; being able to watch TV in bed; being able to put on make-up; being able to see signs and peoples faces clearly from across the street.

Dr. Wallace came highly recommended by my optometrist. He and his staff were great. In retrospect, I was a lot more worried about the whole process than I probably needed to be.

Having clear vision now is such a pleasure! Sometimes I have to pinch myself so I do not just take it for granted. Once in a while, I will think back to how it was before …

Thank modern science and great doctors for LASIK. Every day when I wake up, I smile and thank them again.
