Dr. Wallace's Comments:
Lynn's drawing kind of says it all. Starting out so nearsighted, it's almost inconcievable to contemplate being able to see the world clearly without external devices like glasses or contacts. In a nutshell, that's exactly what LASIK does -- by sculpting the desired optical correction into the collagen layer of the cornea. Overnight Lynn went from being profoundly nearsighted to seeing clearly at all distances.
