Dr. Wallace's Comments:
Pragna had LASIK originally in August '03. Her left eye was spectacularly clear almost from the moment of surgery. By comparison, the right eye lagged a little in sharpness, so we performed enhancement care in January '04. She is now superbly sharp and clear in both eyes, and is extremely happy.
Pragna also is aware of slight dryness affecting the right eye somewhat more than the left. We reviewed all the pertinent factors contributing to dryness (as listed on our
Managing Dry Eye and Optimizing Eye Comfort after LASIK
page, and did place a collagen punctal plug in the tear duct opening on the right lower eyelid. She has not been significantly bothered by dry eye symptoms since.
