Your willingness to go above and beyond what other doctors would have done does not go unnoticed. I deeply appreciate all your efforts that allowed me to achieve such improved eyesight. Doctor Wallace says:
Arlene’s right eye has always had poor vision, since she was a small child. This condition is commonly known as “lazy eye;” the medical term is amblyopia. Over the past few years the vision decreased even more, and she came in for an evaluation. We found that she did have a visually significant cataract in addition to the lazy eye.
We explained that cataract surgery would likely improve the vision to some extent but would not allow recovery of completely normal, “perfect” vision. She understood this and chose to proceed. It is nice to know that she is so pleased with the results of her care.
