I had a great experience with my LASIK procedure and am so grateful to Dr. Wallace and his staff for fixing my poor vision!
I came in with extreme near sightedness and significant astigmatism, but Dr. Wallace was able to correct my vision completely! Due to the amount of correction needed in my case, I wasn’t eligible for the advertised price of $2300. I needed the all laser procedure in order to get the most precise cut and leave enough corneal tissue, so mine cost $3000, which was the only unexpected caveat from what their website suggests. Even so, that was significantly lower than other quotes I received, and it’s definitely worth every cent!
I had mixed feelings and experiences with the staff in my initial visits, but they seemed to know what they were doing and had great reviews, so I went ahead with the procedure at this office and am so glad I did. The technology they have is top-notch, and they made the whole experience so much easier. Even if you understand the extremely low risk factor, it’s almost impossible not to be nervous about allowing someone to cut the surface of your eyeball. They did an amazing job of calming me down, talking me through the process, and instilling my confidence in their ability.
All in all, it was a very strange experience, but there is no pain, it’s SO FAST, and the end result of perfect vision is worth any time, nerves, discomfort, or money it may cost. I cannot recommend this procedure any more highly!
