Dr Wallace, I want to thank you and your staff for an absolutely amazing experience. My experience with LA Sight has got to be one for the books. Your team’s dedication, accommodating caring attitudes, and professionalism greets you as soon as you walk through the door.
As a government worker residing overseas the quality of available medical care can often leave something to be desired. Especially when it comes to sight you do not want to be the guinea pig. I asked you to do what most would not even consider, help me with cataract surgery and do it in a week around my schedule. I was amazed at your willingness to meet me in the office on a Sunday after my plane arrived, pull some strings to get surgery time Monday morning, escort me after the surgery because I had no friend or family to pick me up, and do all the follow-ups in less than a week. I was able to maintain a full business schedule and get back on the job in Korea without missing a beat.
You make me feel more like a friend than a patient. Without question, I knew you had my only my best interest at heart. I have not been able to see this good in years. Without hesitation, I will and already have recommended your services. Whenever I think of an organization living a purpose I will think of yours.

As a member of US Armed Forces living overseas, life is difficult enough when you’re healthy and everything is working well. It can be scary when you are in need of medical care, for any number of reasons. There is the language barrier; there are differences in the custom and practice of medicine; and it’s uncomfortable to seek care from a doctor you don’t already know.
I sensed from Dave’s initial email inquiry that he would appreciate a few favors, an American doctor, and (of course!) good surgical care. We tried to oblige on all three counts. It is nice when “it all comes together” as it did for him.
