This is one of those reviews where you only have one shot at a positive or negative. Dr. Wallace aka LA Sight is in my opinion the place to get your LASIK. A bit of history on myself, I’m in my twenties and have been wearing glasses since around 4 years old or as long as I can remember, being free from glasses had it huge benefits being -9.50 / -8.25. Although glasses are stylish the freedom that comes along is something you can only dream of.
I started researching LASIK years ago and finally started going to consultations in 12/07. I’ve went to the Dr. Maloney since I’ve read he’s the best but I felt the laser wasn’t the best for me. On my research, I found out about the allegretto wave laser which specifically tries to or attempts to preserves night vision which I was most concerned about.
The staff at LA Sight were amazing from the first moment to my follow ups the experience, treatment, and detail are something they do. I had almost chickened out on the big day but was re-assured and I had no surprises as I was fully prepared by Dr. Wallace himself and his staff. Now I see 20/20 which to me is a miracle
Personally, I would go around and see what the other places have/offer, compare them and see what works best for your situation. I did that and Dr. Wallace and staff and LA Sight worked best for me.
