I knew that I needed cataract surgery when I felt blinded by oncoming headlights and could not make out signs on the freeway. In the three months before seeking your consultation, I had two near misses when I did not see pedestrians in the glare of the sun. For me, cataract surgery was a safety issue as well as a comfort issue.
I expected to be able to see clearly after the surgery. What I did not expect was such unbelieveable change in the clarity and quality of my sight after the surgery. The world around me looked luminous. Colors were brilliant, literally glowing, and I could see the smallest details in my environment. I also regained the ability to read for hours on end with no visual tiredness.
