Yippppeeee and thank you thank you thank you. I have a smile on my face every day since my initial Lasik surgery.
Waking up and seeing the world with my very own eyes is nothing short of miraculous, especially, after 45 years of blurry and fuzzy, glasses as thick as Peabody’s, and lost hours searching a bathroom rug for a lost contact.
Thank you for your commitment to perfection and doing whatever it took to make my eyesight the best it could be. Now I can admit, I was very nervous about the procedure, and the subsequent enhancements, but I must tell you your surgical skill and your meticulous attention to detail went a long way towards allaying my fears. You personally answered my laundry list of pre-operative questions via email asap, and you took those concerns seriously and answered forthrightly, reassuringly, and clearly. You invited me to witness the procedure, and even gave me a headset, so I could hear what was going on, and make an informed decision. I was very impressed. During all my procedures, I very greatly appreciated hearing your calm Zen voice describing every phase of the operation, with Walter making sure everything you needed was in place and ready to go, and hearing Ruth counting down the seconds for the laser, so I knew when to stop holding my breath. From the moment Ruth put the stuffed animal into my hands, to the final moments of the procedure when you held my head still ever so briefly, all this attention to the small things made the experience easy as chocolate cream pie.
Please please please extend my warmest regards and heartiest thank yous to your wonderfully friendly and efficient staff. Walter welcomed my questions and answered them with clarity, specificity and made the science understandable. Jesse always called me to make sure I remembered my appointments; Norma always accommodated my hectic over-extended schedule. Ruth was clear re: your pre-and-post operative instructions. In other words, give those guys a raise!
It’s a testament to you Doctor Dave, that everyone at LA Sight really seemed to care about my well-being. Thank you to infinity and beyond for my amazing eagle eyesight.

While we are delighted with your ultimate results, readers should know that we did need to enhance one eye on two separate occasions. It would be nice if all our fanatic attention to detail and all the fancy science could give everyone *perfect* vision with only one treatment. While this is often the case, it doesn’t always happen. Thank you for understanding this and for working with me, being patient enough to endure the several months of slightly-less-than-perfect clarity until we could “get it right”.
