Doctor Wallace says:
Jeanette had her treatment in September ’04. This profile was posted in August, ’05.
We recommended PRK to Jeanette due to corneal thickness concerns. She did not have adequate thickness to support both creation of the LASIK flap and optical sculpting treatment for her rather high correction. PRK (also called LASEK, epi-LASIK, and ASA for “advanced surface ablation”) is an excellent option in such circumstances.
At nearly 1 year after treatment, she is doing extremely well. Virtually perfect vision, no glare, no halo, no night vision difficulties. She is delighted, and so are we!
