First I’d like to give you a little background on me. I am finishing up my third year of law school, so it’s safe to say that I do my research. I went to three consultation appointments including the consultation at Dr. Wallace’s office, and was impressed by all of the doctors I met. However, Dr. Wallace and his team presented the most thorough explanation of the lasik procedure and more importantly offered the most affordable rate. $2,300 total for both eyes. That, I think I can safely say, is unheard of at other establishments, but fair in my book. So I went with Dr. Wallace.
The surgery took less than 15 minutes and was painless. For those of you concerned about side effects or pain, please take my word for it. This procedure is well worth it.
Dr. Wallace is very kind and talks you through the entire procedure. His staff is also kind and congratulatory on your “new eyes.” The next morning, I could see perfectly and had no problem going back to work.
My eyesight is now 20-20 in my right eye and 20-25 in my left. Dr. Wallace said that it should balance out over the next few days, and expected 20-20 in the end. I will write an update in about a week to confirm.
Overall, great experience, professional team, and well worth the money. Just imagine waking up in the morning with the ability to see!
