Before I was a student, I was a paramedic and stay-at-home dad. Working nights and waking up to go on medical calls with foggy and itchy contacts in my eyes was bad enough for me to consider Lasik surgery. But the final straw was when I found myself on hands and knees futilely searching blindly for my screaming infant child’s pacifier at some unknown time in the during the night ’cause I can’t see the clock.
If you are reading this, you are probably seriously considering having some sort of corrective eye surgery performed and are just trying to figure out who to trust with your visual future. I chose Dr. Wallace and company because after reading several websites, his was the most informative, detailed, and honest. I correctly assumed that if he took the time to write the content of such a great website, he would utilize that same attention to detail in my eyes.
I am very happy with the results. I paid one cost that included all follow-up care and any potential additional retouch procedures, the latter which I didn’t need. It was a bit more than many other “discount” or “bait-and-switch” clinics that mass-produce the procedures. These sites often charge for additional retouch and routine follow-up care which in the end can work out to about even and begs the question of the interest level in getting the procedure done right the first time.
For me personally, the peace of mind that paying one all inclusive cost up front made me feel that their was an increased interest in first-time success. If additional procedures were needed, it was already taken care of. In addition, It helped that I noticed that Dr. Wallace’s success rate was well above 90% at the time I was investigating.
Getting this new vision is the best thing that has happened in my life. It enhances everything you do in your life. I’m confident in Dr. Wallace that I’m trying to encourage my wife into getting the corrective eye surgery with him.
Anyways, WOW. I can see! I can’t believe how many individual antennae towers are on all the hilltops in LA. I never noticed them before. And I wake up at three o’clock in the morning ’cause I can read the clock from the other end of the room and deftly reinsert the errant pacifier of my second screaming infant child.
Regards,
Joshua

Wow, what a lovely and articulate letter! Josh says it all and does a better job than we can, frankly.
Josh had his laser treatment in August ’05. We just saw him for his 1-year anniversary visit, and he continues to enjoy awesome, crystal “20/20” vision in both eyes. He is thrilled that he chose to have care with us, and is working on persuading his wife to do likewise. (Note to Josh: Don’t even try to change your wife’s mind about stuff like this. People including those we love need to come to their own decisions in their own way, through their own process, and this can take some time. She will do this if she chooses when she is ready, and not before!).
