I met Dr. Wallace via the internet when I was searching for a low cost but highly reliable source for my vision correction. His response via email greatly impressed me. He provided more than adequate detailed information and background to make me feel comfortable and confident with my choice.
I was wearing bi-focals when I was about 11 and switched to hard contacts when I was 13 years old. My mother is legally blind and it seemed as though I was headed down the same road. At some point in my teens I switched to soft contacts then to extended wear. I was weary of the daily routine chores, inconvenience and hassle. I waited for years before getting serious about corrective surgery. I wanted a balance – the expertise UP and the cost DOWN.
The entire experience with Dr. Wallace and his staff was excellent. Superb customer service skills and follow through is not a thing of the past after all! Yeah! I was not personally upset or afraid of the surgery itself. It lasted less than 10 minutes and the recovery time and discomfort was minimal. But if you have any fear, the staff has all kinds of methods for helping you understand and overcome.
When the surgery was done I could see – 20/15 – better than normal in both eyes. It’s a year later and there have been no side effects, no problems, and NO hassles!! If you are a contact lens wearer and have been for years, GO FOR IT!! It’s an amazing thing, beyond your wildest dreams to see well without any “”assistance”” from glasses or contacts. It’s heaven and it happens the moment you sit up after the procedure!
