NEAR, FAR & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

NEAR, FAR & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

Doctor Wallace says:
Paul is a great guy who, like most people that seek vision correction care, wanted it all: Near, far, and everything in-between. He was referred by people who are both business associates and friends of mine. He had sought consultation at another laser center, where he was told he was a good candidate. He came to see me at the recommendation of my colleagues even though for him it was a longer drive, as he had not gotten a particularly warm feeling from the other center. I knew we could help him, but being over ~45 years of age he has presbyopia as well as nearsightedness. I made sure to explain that if we corrected his distance vision perfectly, he would likely need reading glasses. We tried several combinations of soft contact lens to show him full distance correction, “full” mono-vision (one eye corrected for distance, one for reading range), and mild mono-vision. He liked the latter option and that’s what we targeted. Several weeks after treatment, he’s like a kid with a new bike; and it’s a pleasure to see him so delighted with his new vision. He’s comfortable with driving, watching TV, and intermediate-range vision including viewing a computer monitor. He is comfortable wearing reading glasses for fine print up close, but finds he hardly ever needs to do this.

Way to go, Paul!
