Doctor Wallace says:
Rick was referred to me by his ophthalmologist. He had worn contact lenses for years, and was interested in getting rid of them.
Rick had a very frightening experience in high school, when he was acidentally struck in the eye, causing and an old, hard plastic lens to shatter. He did not suffer any permanent eye damage or scarring, but I’m sure it helped motivate him to consider LASIK,
His LASIK was performed in April, 2001. When we saw hom most recently (May, ’02) his unaided vision was excellent but he was noting some mild decrease in night vision comfort. If these symptoms increase at all, we will look into the possibility of enhancement care, posibly with wavefront-guided treatment.
