DAY AFTER SURGERY, ALREADY DRIVING
It’s my day after my surgery and so far, I’m feeling great. I’ve been contemplating LASIK for years and did a few consultations last year that had me on the fence. A few months ago, a trusted friend referred me to LA Sight after his successful surgery and I figured, I would give my research another shot. The staff are extremely personable and accomodating, the location is convenient and customer service is spot on!
In my initial consultation, the doctor was very patient with my million out-there questions (I like to think of every possible tangent chance event) and answered them thoroughly.
The office is very clean (including the bathroom inside) which is not what i found at another 5 star rated office (I notice this things).
I had a few exams to triple check my eyesight, was given clear and brief before, during and after instructions. They were very accommodating with my work schedule for these appointments.
The actual surgery (yesterday for me) was very short, and though I was nervous, breathing through it made it comfortable. About a couple of hours post-surgery, my eyes watered quite a bit, which I’ve read is very normal, and that subsided through the evening. I slept fine.
As the eyes take a few days to adjust, my current state is that I see distance very well (as though I was wearing contacts), very slight cloudiness/light sensitivity which will wear off and dryness which will also wear off. My experience is in line with all material I’ve read as well as what I was told by the office. Few eye drops are prescribed to maintain healing. Again, this is my day after surgery and I’m already driving and doing work and feeling great about my decision.
I appreciate Dr, Wallace and his great staff and would highly recommend them.
Additional note, from I found researching centers over the months, the prices are very fair/competitive.
